This Made for Canon Quantaray lens is in Excellent condition and has been stored in a padded camera bag when not being used. It’s VERY lightly used, and looks great! This lens incorporates Special Low Dispersion Optical (LDO) glass elements to minimize chromatic aberration. This is a true Tele-Macro Zoom lens, capable of focusing down to 1:2 (half life-size) reproduction ratio at 300mm focal length with superb optical quality.

This Quantaray (for Canon EOS) 70-300mm f:4-5.6 LDO ('LDO’ = Low Dispersion Optics) Macro Canon EOS Mount Zoom works with any Canon EOS Camera. The f:4.0-5.6 is ‘brighter’ than many lenses in this range which only have an aperture range of 4.5-6.3. This allows you to use this lens in less light than other f:4.5-5.6+ lenses. The lens takes sharp pictures, and is SUPER Clean, looks great & works like new! You might find a minor scuff or two on the outside of this lens, but NOTHING that affects the performance of this quality lens.
COMPATIBILITY - Quantaray tells me this lens IS compatible with Canon Digital Cameras. I did test this on a Digital Rebel XT, 30D, + a newer XSi and it worked great. Based on info from Ritz/Quantaray and my informal 'testing', I'd say this WILL work on Canon digital SLRs. But... please check for yourself to confirm that your model camera will work with this lens... I don't want any 'surprises' when you get this! (e-mail me if you have any questions) I DO know it works with all Canon EOS FILM cameras, and have tested this on several models including Rebels, the A2, 1n, and EOS 3.
