LOVELY EARLY JAPANESE HAND PAINTED PAPIER MACHE  CUFFLINK JEWELLERY BOX- FAB INTERIOR

You are bidding on a lovely Japanese Papier Mache hand painted jewellery box, and would be great to use as a mans cufflink/ ring box, although has many uses.

Dates 1890/1920

WONDERFUL CONDITION, with no missing pieces.

Difficult to appreciate until you see it in the hand.

Very minor rubbing as to be expected but in very good condition considering the boxes age.

The box came out of a large Japanese box that had sadly perished. This one was inside and very rarely used hence its good condition.

Hand painted to the top with minor rubbing.

All our boxes come with after care instruction.

We have given the box a light wax over and relined the interior with top quality velvet. All the added dividers can be repositioned or removed if desired.

Very highly recommended, and a great talking point on an office desk.
