WONDERFUL 19C SOLID WALNUT ANTIQUE
DOCUMENT/JEWELLERY BOX - FAB INTERIOR
You
are bidding on a WONDERFUL 19c French figured solid walnut antique restored and
repolished doucment/jewellery box. Dates approximately 1880/1910.
In
WONDERFUL restored condition.
Made
from solid walnut throughout, with no missing or repalced timber.
This
is a terrific box. Originally an Artist box. Impressed into the wood now
beneath the fabric is the word 'Bourgfoisaine' It remains but is now covered up
by the fabric.
We
dont get to many 19c French artist boxes as they are usually rarely seen. This
now has many uses.
Its just
superb!!!!

The lid opens fully to reveal a wonderful interior that has been
relined in expensive velvet material of the highest
quality.
Beneath the base of the box
has also been lined in velvet to stop any scratches to other surfaces.
A superb box, and
would make a fantastic gift.
