All my silver jewellery is made by hand by a silversmith family in Rajasthan, on the edge of the Thar Desert in India. My best friend Amy lives in India and knows the family personally and all our pieces are made to her high standards by Robin, Sonu and the rest of the family.   Pictures of Manu and Sonu with Amy and I are above.

The silver is mined at Jaipur in Rajasthan, so the metal is local to the area and reaches your products as 92.5% pure, which is best for malleability and also strength.

This stunning ring is known in India as a 'Karma' ring.  It is a twiddle or stress ring with inner movable bands of silver, copper and brass.  The ring is 'scalloped' shaped and very tactile to wear.  It is a deep ring being a centimetre in depth.  UK size is T.5, U.S. size 10, circumference is 62mm.  The ring is hallmarked 925 at the Birmingham Assay Office where I have an account.

Karma rings are popular 'wear all the time' rings and equally make amazing wedding, anniversary or engagement bands for both men and women alike.

Pieces are made by hand, the silver being shaped by mangle, hammer, tin-snips and heat. Some pieces may be made by pouring molten silver into a mould, yet even these are finished by hand.

The designs are varied with inspiration from across the globe, both traditional Indian, modern and even some of our own ideas.  This ring will come in a presentation box.
