Lovely Charles II silver trefid spoon by John King. Simple, clean example with a reeded rat tail to the back of the bowl. Fully marked with the London leopard, lion and maker's initials. A year mark is obscured but I think most likely to be the S for 1675. Owner's initials R*V also engraved to the rear of the finial. The fine hand hammering to the bowl can be seen in the close up photos.

It measures 7 1/2" long and the bowl is 1 7/8" wide. It weighs 55g/1.8ozt. Condition is excellent with no damage and light surface wear for age.
