For sale here is a highly collectable and unique ceramic Art Deco inspired Ocean liner Mantel Clock hand made by the Echo of Deco Art Pottery in the UK.

This delightful item was designed and individually handmade by the British Ceramic Artist Malcolm Akerman.

The inspiration for this Mantel Clock comes from the white Star Line and Cunard's great ocean liners built during the classic Art Deco age of travel.

This Mantel Clock has been hand glazed in Echo of Deco's own Paris white glaze, with hand decorated red and black funnel detail and mottled green sea base, bow line and smoke. There are also sea birds flying on the hull. The hour and minute hands are metal and finished in a black colour.

The Echo Of Deco studio is a contemporary ceramic studio / art pottery specialising in designing and individually hand making unique ceramic objects in the classic Art Deco style. Echo Of Deco have collectors in America, Canada and Europe as well as all over the UK and have been featured in various leading magazines.

All Echo of Deco work is hand made at their UK Studio Pottery, only in very small numbers and exclusively by the designers.
