Local name "Pood Mai Daeng" Burmese name = pyinkado

Another rare species of burls from Laos
Medium to-fine-grained and varies in color from a light yellow,
sometime a shade of light green, golden-brown to redish.
Super strong, very heavy, EXTREMELY hard much harder than Amboyna burl
They don't just call IRONWOOD for nothing!
Machine well, turn great, take polish like granite or glass
There may be small inclusions, voids,
and a few minor drying checks which is typically found in burl woods.
Sanded and sealed to protect the wood. This stock is in various stages of drying and may not be fully dry...
