CASE:


This is a stunning, and beautiful two piece screw back watch case. The back of the case is correctly numbered H 5778 and 335941 and it has the British military broad arrow mark and W.W.W. (Water proof Wrist Watch). The case itself is in good original used condition with some wear thru in places and nicks and scratches here and there through normal military use. The watch measures 3.7cms (37mm) In diameter, excluding the crown. This is a stunning and beautiful QUALITY original BUREN MILITARY watch case.



DIAL:


This is an absolutely lovely, and most importantly totally original fully signed black military dial. The dial is signed "BUREN GRAND PRIX" in white painted lettering with the wording underneath 'Swiss Made' on the bottom of the dial. It has painted Arabic and numerals bordered by a white minute track which is in excellent original condition. The hour markers are lumed dots. The beautiful steel hour and minute hands are in excellent condition retaining lume with NO breaks and NO cracks in the lume that I can see. The sub- second hand is white metal and is in good original condition showing some oxidisation. This is a really lovely ORIGINAL dial in beautiful minty original condition. The crystal is new and as such is in excellent condition.



MOVEMENT:


This is a clean and absolutely genuine BUREN CAL 462 15 jewel manual wind movement. It is complete with its original metal dust cover. It has a beautiful finish and is FULLY signed on the mainspring barrel wheel top plate in a beautiful typesetting, showing its true BUREN roots. The watch winds smoothly, sets with ease. It is in full working condition. PLEASE NOTE: This watch has been serviced by my watch maker. The watch is keeping very good time as tested over a 12 hour period. The stainless original crown looks absolutely genuine to the watch, and is in excellent condition hardly any wear.


　


BAND:


This fabulous BUREN W.W.W. MILITARY wrist watch has been fitted with a brand new black leather 18mm open ended band. The band has a white metal buckle. If you are a serious collector, the watch would probably benefit more, if you fitted a new NATO style canvas band.
