Recently I had the opportunity to purchase lots of "NOS" "DEADSTOCK" swimsuits from a now "DEFUNKED" beach souvenir shop. This was a very popular beach stop for all of the most popular styles of swimsuits for the "Spring Break" crowd in Daytona Beach. These swimsuits have all been stored in a warehouse since the store's closing back in the early 1980s. These suits date back to the 1970s and the 1980s, so all of the suits are at least 30 years old and some older. The fabric, from storage, will sometimes get some fold marks and spots on them from the storage and from years of aging and oxidation called "tea-staining". Most of the time these discolorations will come out in a regular cleaning or a stain removal process or soaking. There are many things to use to do this and each buyer can google this and decide which process would be best for them to use. I have NOT LAUNDERED these, then they would not be condition "old stock" or "new".....this will be left up to you. Since all of these suits are "true vintage" suits, like any clothing that is true vintage, they run much smaller than the clothing in those sizes that are in stores today. I will give you my best "guess" as to the fit of the swimsuit, and some measurements. If you need other measurements prior to purchase, please let me know. Due to the nature of the item, intimate apparel a.k.a. swimsuits.....there will be "NO RETURNS" and these will be sold "AS IS"....please keep this in mind. The mannequin that the swimwear is being photographed on is typically a size "small", her breasts are on the smaller size and her backside is on the large side, keep this in mind when viewing the photos. There are lots of these swimsuits that are very "SKIMPY" and very "BO DEREK" like suits, which makes perfect sense coming from that era!

- Measures like a Size Small or possibly a Medium (this would be on the smaller size of Medium)
- Fabric content is 85% nylon and 15% lycra blend
- Strappy with criss cross in the back and side hooks
- Higher back style
- Shiny Navy Blue color pattern
- leg opening measures 9" side to side laying flat UNSTRETCHED......13" side to side laying flat STRETCHED
- Overall in NEVER WORN condition.....since this was a "store stock" item and probably tried on by a walk-in customer, sometimes there can be loose threads etc.....from being stretched on and off. If there is more than usual, I will point this out or picture it. This is an easy fix!
- There isn't anything additional to mention about the condition that would compromise the integrity of the swimsuit......it is in NOS wearable condition!!
- ***SEE THE LAST PICTURE......there are two very tiny pinholes on the right buttocks near the seam***

Payment must be recieved via Paypal within (7) days of auction's ending, or the winning bidder will be considered "late" in making payment. As recommended by the NEW Ebay policy, on the (4)th day, if payment has not yet been received, an unpaid item claim with Ebay will be filed; although, you still have the FULL (7) days to make payment. This is what Ebay considers a "friendly reminder" to make the payment by the (7)th day and there isn't any strikes against the winning bidder for having this done. However, on the (8)th day after the winning auction is "not paid", the unpaid item reminder will be closed, and then there will be a strike against your Ebay ID. If there are circumstances beyond your control, please contact me prior to bidding on the item, and we should be able to work out a plan that is mutually beneficial to both parties involved.

After receipt of payment, your item will be shipped within 72 hours. Your item will always be shipped the fastest way possible, based on the shipping amount charged and the distance the item will need to travel. We sell a lot of vintage pieces and they will have wear consistent with age and being previously worn or used. Vintage items are RARE and UNIQUE to the era that they are from, and not reproductions that are out there today. I always include alot of pictures for detailed inspection by you....PLEASE look carefully at what you are bidding on. You will receive EXACTLY what is pictured.
Returns will only be accepted if there has been an oversight by myself in the items description or measurements due to human error. All of the measurements are given and must be checked by the potential buyer and compared to something you currently own that fits you, if this is not done, this is NOT an acceptable reason for return and the return will NOT be accepted. Contact must be made by the buyer within (3) days of receipt of the item and must be mailed back by day (7) in the original condition and box from which it was received. Customer satisfaction is a priority and will be met if all is followed.
