This lovely chap was probably intended as a fireplace decoration but as he is heavy (715gm) , he would make an excellent doorstop or paperweight for a desk.

The whole piece measures 19cm, 7.5 inches across and stands 12cm, 4.75 inches high. It has not been polished recently so it has a wonderful mellow brass patina with verdigris infill.

A lovely antique piece for any greyhound aficionado.
