The item up for sale is an original antique musical manuscript hand-written in sepia ink circa 1868.

A hand-written on the front free end-paper reads : "Clara Florence Nash.  April 1868."

The manuscript contains  94 numbered pages with an index page.  

The staff lines are hand drawn.

The manuscript measures 11 1/2 X 9 1/2 inches; (4to); softcover; green cloth on flexible boards; gilt stamped bands on spine & borders on covers;  small holes along front spine edge; three splits along rear spine edge;  edges worn;  covers have light white stains;  **text block detached from binding**;  small loss to lower corner of front free end-paper;  index page at rear detached;  contents lightly age toned & lightly soiled.

The index lists 2 songs by Daniel Auber; 'She sings in fairy bowers' by Rossini;  'Serenade' by Gounod;  etc...
