Here is the opportunity to own some very useful vintage Sheaffer Fountain Pen, Ballpoint Pen and Propelling Pencil spares, including barrels, caps and a fully functional twist-action propelling pencil mechanism - it is even fitted with lead!!!
Although listed as used, apart from the three items at the bottom of the first picture - which do show some signs of use - these items are in virtually New Old Stock condition.
From top to bottom in the first picture are :-
- two very similar fountain pen caps - one clip is plain, the other features the Sheaffer "S";
- two very different fountain pen barrels - brushed chrome and gold plated lined pattern;
- three ballpoint pen barrels, with springs - gold plated lined, polished chrome lined, black plastic;
- two very similar brushed chrome "reminder" clip-action ballpoint pen caps - clips feature white dots/spots.
- fine lined gold plated propelling pencil, barrel, tip nozzle, with working mechanism;
- two black fountain pen barrels - these would fit similar pens to the caps at the top of the picture.
Most of these items were acquired several years ago in an ex-rep's Sheaffer pouch.
There are no personal engravings or company advertising on these items - the gold plated lined fountain pen and ballpoint barrels both have a plain cartouche, and the two brushed chrome ballpoint pen caps do feature SHEAFFER below the clips, followed by a horizontal line, and MADE IN U.S.A.
