Lake Superior Thomsonite as the locals have called it for many years in the Keweenaw it is really a mineral mix of Prehnite, Copper, Zeolite's and green Epidote and some times Chlorite minerals , It was collected off the shore line of Lake Superior at Sedar Bay ,Keweenaw county,Michigan. It is 1 3/8" x 13/16" x 5/16" and has been polished on the contour of the stone. The pink colors are from microscopic Copper crystals from testing at the Seaman Mineral Museum the Zeolite's could be either Mesolite,Thomsonite or Natrolite it is not Patricianite because of the Zeolite inclusions., I have been told by PhD.s.
