I shot some photos around the neighborhood this morning to give you an idea of the outstanding colors and the gorgeous out of focus rendering of this lens. I usually like to stop down to f5.6 or f8 for maximum sharpness, but this lens looks so amazing wide open (f3.4), I can't imagine using it any other way.

The attached photos were all shot at f3.4 and are straight out of the camera - no Photoshop (Canon 5D MKII, smallest size and quality, Neutral Picture Style). I usually turn up the saturation in my camera when I use most lenses, but the colors are so rich with this lens, I keep all of the camera settings at baseline.

The first two photo will give you an idea of how far the lens extends when you zoom. It's a lightweight lens.

There's some fungus on the rear element that may affect image quality, but look at the attached photos and you be the judge of whether or not it hinders your ability to make compelling images.

Of course you can use this on any Contax/Yashica mount camera, but I'm also including a Canon EF adapter with autofocus confirmation contacts. Even though it's a manual focus lens, you'll get autofocus confirmation in your viewfinder. If your camera can do AF micro adjustment, this adapter will help you dial it in.
