This dish is made from Spectrum glass, better known as System 96. The glass is heated to a temperature of 1480 degrees for the fusing. It is then put in a plaster mold and reheated to 1240 degrees to obtain the sushi shape. Total fusing and slumping times is 24 hours. (website Albertsglass)
