Besonderheit und Bemerkung
Das renommierte Unternehmen Cartier kann heute auf eine über 150 Jahre alte Tradition zurückblicken. Gegründet wurde es von dem Schmuckhändler Louis-Francois Cartier in Paris, der zunächst mit antiken Taschenuhren handelte, aber schnell zu einer "ersten Adresse" von Frankreichs Napoleons III. wurde. Die Luxusuhren und hohe Juwelierkunst des Hauses zogen selbst gekrönte Häupter in ihren Bann. Enkel Louis Cartier hatte frühzeitig die Zeichen der Zeit erkannt und wandte schon vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg seine Aufmerksamkeit den Armbanduhren zu. Characteristics and remarks
Cartier, a well-respected business, can look back on a 150 year old long tradition. It was founded by the jeweller Louis-Francois Cartier in Paris, who started in trading antique pocket watches, but soon became a No. 1 adress in France at the time of Napoleon III. His son and grandson enlarged the business. Even crowned heads were drawn to the luxury watches and grand jewelry making. Grandson Louis noticed early the signs of the time and focused his attention on wristwatches before World War 1. That way Santos, Panthere and Tank developed amongst other high-class design icons.

Impermeability
If the watch has been tested for water resistance, detailed infomation about the time and pressure used in the test can be found on the enclosed protocol. According to DIN 8310, a watch's water resistance is not permanently guaranteed. It is affected by the aging of gaskets or deformation of watch parts over the course of time. Please refer to the enclosed information about water resistance and have a look at the test certificate. In case there is no infomation on any specified water resistance level, the watch has not been tested by us.
Viewing
As the item is being kept in a secure place, it can only be sold on inspection upon request and according to prior agreement.
