Rare Antique Hawksbill Sea Turtle Taxidermy.

C.1900.

From leg to head measures approximately 78cm in length.

The shell on its own measures 50cm x 37cm.

The neck and the head measure 22cm.

Arm to arm 52cm.

Leg to leg 40cm.

I would say that the condition is very good to excellent

with a couple of little bits of damage.

There is a bit of skin missing on one foot.

The skin around the neck is cracked and there may or may not be some scales or shell missing.

There is a round repair or replacement bit of shell on the back.

The shell needs a some oïl or wax to bring out the colour.
