The Starplayer TV Deluxe is asthetically more pleasing than the standard Starplayer, with upgraded inlays, a headstock veneer, dual f-holes, and more versatile controls. There are "Vario-Tone" controls for each pickup that filter out certain frequencies to produce a very wide range of tones. It sounds similar to a coil tap but without the noise and drop in volume.
