The coin is an early posthumous issue of Amphipolis ca. 322-320 BC. It weighs 16.95 grams and has a diameter of 29 mm. The obverse depicts the head of Heracles right wearing lion skin and the reverse depicts Zeus seated left on backless throne, left leg drawn back, eagle in right hand, long scepter in left, cornucopia in left field.
