These vermeil (gold filled) items meet FTC standards of 100 millionths of an inch of fine gold (24k PURE gold) layered over sterling silver. This is much more durable than gold plated, and is meant to last many years of frequent use without wearing off.
They are nice! Hand made in Bali. These will look great with any kind of beads!
