No risk of filter-related constitutional vignetting (shading) in the Corners.  

With hard dirt and water resistant surface, which is also extremely resistant to damage and scratches.

 

"Swallows" between 3 and 10  f-stops, allowing one a thousand times prolonged exposure time. 

Perfect to indemnify objects in bright environments with a large aperture.

Ideal for example, soft flowing water (waste), or creeks reproduce, or even useful to

to "empty" busy scenes by long exposure.

Allows very interesting experiments, e.g. moving clouds get veil,

or the wind roughened water seems like a fog due to the possible long exposure time.
