This is a complete optional parts set for the 12 volt model 77 fresh air heater for 1959 and 1960 Dodge Trucks of all sizes and types, including Sweptside, Sweptline, and Power Wagon trucks. The heater is not included in this set. This set-up is also correct for 1960 Dodge trucks except for the defroster vents which are different.
Condition: The temperature control slider is in good condition with all of its pieces. It has some scratches and pits on the chrome, but is otherwise very attractive. The slider moves and there is some siurface rust on the cable and control. The defroster knob and cable are in good working condition; the knob face has heavy sun damage, the cable is a bit stiff. The heater switch works mechanically, electrical condition unknown. The heater switch knob has moderate to heavy sun damage. All of the wires for connectiong the switch are included. The water valve that mounts on the inner fender is decent with some minor to moderate rust damage; it is frozen. The intake that mounts on the firewall has mild surface rust. The defroster vent's cardboard has swollen shut on the dash side and the brackets have some mild surface rust but are in otherwise good condition. The intake that goes on the core support is in decent condition, with a few cracks in the plastic. There is a hole in the upper surface of the intake near the front and some material has broken away where the rivet hold the two halves together on one side. One of the rivets that holds one of the mounting brackets in place has lost the head. The grill is missing. The hose clamps are in good condition with some light surface rust. The heater plates that block air from coming in to the cab are in good condition with moderate surface rust. The panel that goes underneath all of the controls on the dash is covered with large areas of factory paint and has some moderate surface rust. There are no additional non-standard holes drilled in it. The plastic plug for the firewall that the cables go through is still pliable enough to use. The water hose clamps are in good condition with mild surface rust. The defroster cable heater clamp is in good condition with large areas of factory paint. Overall this setup is nice.

This is a rare optional model 77 fresh air heater setup from a 1959 Dodge Truck. This heater option provides two big benefits over the other heater options, one it allows fresh air from outside into the cab, and two it allows the driver to control the temperature of the water in the heater from a control on the dash instead of a valve that can only be accessed by opening the hood. All the parts included except the defroster vents fit on 1959 and 1960 Dodge trucks. This set-up is also correct for 1960 Dodge trucks except for the defroster vents which are different. The heater is not included in this set. This setup includes the core support air intake, the two air intake hose clamps that mount on the inner fender, the air intake valve that mounts on the fire wall, the gasket for the firewall valve and the four mountinfg screws, the two plates that block off the sides of the factory heater to prevent air from being pulled in from inside of the cab with mounting screws, the panel that mounts underneath the controls on the dash with all of the correct holes for mounting the high-end heater, the water valve and air valve chrome slider control with cables, the defroster vent control knob and cable, fan speed switch and connecting wires, 1959 defroster vents and one mounting screw, the clamp and mounting screws to anchor the defroster vent to the heater, the grommet for the firewall for the air and water valve control cables, water valve with two mounting bolts, and six heater hose clamps. This setup fits 1959 Dodge Sweptside Trucks, Sweptline Trucks , and other 1959 to 1960 pickups, LCFs, stake trucks, etc. This heater may have been installed in WM300 Power-Wagons during the same era, though this may have been a dealer installed option, and it may have used a different front intake and defroster vents. Add this to your truck and experience modern comforts in your classic truck!
