Art Deco Black Leather Decorated Handbag c1930

A small handbag with a large twist stud fastening has a decorated panel to the front with cut out circles and tooled borders. It has two carrying handles joined together at the top by a strip of same coloured leather.

Within there are two main compartments, one with a side pocket and purse. The lining is dark blue shot, most likely silk.

Made in black leather and a small size of 23cm wide by 19cm tall maximum and a closed depth of around 3cm (9 inches by 7.25 inches by 1.2 inches).

Condition is very good with slight signs of wear.

An English Art Deco original dating to circa 1930. For day and evening wear.
