CARDAS quad eutectic solder and colour coded heatshrink are also supplied. It then allows you to use a separate
external cable of your choice with the appropriate female DIN connector like the Cardas SDIN E or Exact XDIN listed
separately. The kit is based around CARDAS components: a set of gold cartridge clips, 33awg Litz tone arm cable an
MDIN R male DIN connector fitted at the bottom of the arm pillar. You get a new longer set screw to lock the MDIN plug
in position (not shown in photo).

kit, using cheaper cartridge clips, cable or unbranded untwisted cable.
Please check your deck, that there will be sufficient clearance below your arm for this conversion.
CARDAS tone arm cable is supplied in twisted pair configuration to minimise crosstalk and cancel EMI from
external sources. Each colour of wire is slightly thicker at 0.6mm overall diameter than the Rega wire which is 0.4mm.
375mm length of cable is supplied to make it easier to rewire the arm. It is useful to loop back some excess cable
behind the headshell in case you want to renew or change clips in the future.
CARDAS Quad Eutectic Solder is ultra pure tin/lead/silver/copper with an activated rosin core flux.
