They are the result of years of engineering development time and thousands of hours of lab and field testing. Shimano has pursued its reel design and manufacturing with the goal of embracing the romance and excitement of big game fishing and combining it with the advancements of modern technology. These reels deliver the smooth and unrelenting power today's performance-minded big game fisherman rely on. Every Tiagra Conventional Saltwater Reel is machined from solid 7mm pipe stock aluminum for relentless strength and secure alignment under duress. Features smooth push-button shifting backed by permanently lubed A-RB® Anti-Rust Bearings for easy handling at all times. Traditional style drag curves on most models provide an area of low drag pressure just above strike level–great for holding baits in the wake, but light enough to reduce the chances of pulling the hook out of the fish's mouth. LRS models feature a special drag curve for fishing heavy lines with extra-tight drag settings.You can target just about any billfish or tuna found in any ocean.

A-RB
A-RB bearings are stainless steel ball bearings that have been through the A-RB treatment process which makes them at least 10 times more corrosion resistant than standard stainless steel ball bearings.

  • A-RB (Anti-Rust Bearings) are made of Stainless Steel that has been through the A-RB process.
  • At least 10 times more corrosion resistant than standard Stainless Steel ball bearings.
  • Easy Maintenance-no shield design allows for easy flushing of debris and easy lubrication.<.li>
  • Increased Bearing Speed-no shield design and lighter viscosity lubrication reduce friction and allow the bearing to spin faster and longer.

  • Returned to us in NEW re-sellable condition.
  • Copy of invoice enclosed with merchandise.
  • You must contact us for a RMA number and write the number on the package.
  • You must return the goods to the warehouse(s) specified in the RMA, and it is the customer's responsibility to verify the correct return address before sending goods back. Any goods shipped to the incorrect location will incur additional shipping charges. We are not responsible for any goods returned to the wrong address.
  • Enclose a brief letter of explanation.

Shipping charges are not refundable on non-defective items. If you return an item for a refund that had free shipping, a normal shipping charge will be deducted from the refund. Warranty: All rods that need warranty are to handled by Manufacturer not Allegheny Angler... Shimano & G. Loomis require Brick & Mortar receipt that is included with every rod and reel. Please keep that warranty receipt!
