This is a charming,  hand crafted, folk art barn. The gentleman I purchased these from, says they were used for a railroad or train yard setting in the 1940's. The building is hand crafted from wood from wooden crates. The wood is rough textured, especially on the inside, unpainted surfaces. The dark red paint is original. It has a simple barn shape & style with a 4 paneled roof & 3 small openings on 1 side. One side sports a knot hole opening. The building measures 12"  by 12" & is 8 & 1/4" tall. It is in great shape. Construction is all secure. Nothing loose or broken. Paint shows a few nicks & scratches, adding to it's charm. Great piece!
