COUNTDOWN SALE
If you would like to save an additional 30%-70% off this listing, please take note of how our “Countdown” format works:
If the item doesn’t sell the first week it’s listed, it will automatically go on sale for 30% off our original price. If the item is still unsold the second week, it will go on sale for 40% off its original price. Each week the item goes unsold, it will decrease by another 10% off the original price until it reaches 70% off. At that point, it may increase in price, stay at 70% off, or simply be taken off eBay. To save big, you’ll have to take a bit of a gamble that the item will still be for sale when it reaches 70% off. Please note that once our items are sold, we generally cannot get any more.
FAQs about our Countdown Sale format:
1. Can you hold a fabric for me? No, I’m sorry but that wouldn’t be fair to other people who are watching the item.
2. If the fabric sells while I am waiting for a sample, do I have any recourse? No, that’s the nature of this type of sale. Once it’s sold, it’s gone.
3. Can you adjust the yardage if I don’t need the entire amount in the listing? No, but if the item doesn’t sell at 70% off, we may consider selling in smaller units.
4. How can I receive a free sample? Send us an email with your name, mailing address and the complete title of the listing(s) you’re interested in.
5. How can you sell fabrics at these prices? We buy fabrics from dozens of North Carolina-based furniture companies every month. We inspect large lots fabrics left over from their projects and then negotiate the best prices for first-quality fabrics. Since we don’t use the normal wholesale house-to-retailer-to-consumer sales formula, we can sell our fabrics at discounted prices.
6. How do I know these fabrics are what you claim they are? Most of our fabrics come with documentation of the textile house, pattern and color. If you are still concerned, you may look up the pattern on the textile house’s website and compare what we are offering to what they are selling.
7. May I offer you a price based on what the sale will be next week? No, that would not be fair to the other customers watching the item.
8. How can I predict when the next sale will occur? Each new sale will begin at approximately 2 am on Thursdays and end at midnight the following Wednesday. We are at the mercy of eBay’s timers which are sometimes accurate and sometimes not.
9. How will I receive announcements about sales and new items added to our inventory? The best way to receive information from us is to subscribe to our eBay store via the Newsletter link at the top of the page. Recently, eBay’s email/newsletter system has been functioning sporadically, so it’s also a good idea to check our store every Thursday morning for new sale items and new listings.
SILVERSTONE POLICIES AND CONDITIONS
COLOR: Please be aware that computer monitors vary in the way they show color. If available, we will always provide the designer’s or manufacturer’s color name or number in Item Specifics above. If you are in doubt about color, please request a free sample, especially if you are purchasing a BY THE YARD listing that cannot be returned.
IMAGES: The tall narrow images which appear first (and sometimes along) in our listings are scans and are they most accurate representations of the color of the fabric. The wider images, if present, are photographs and are provided only to show overall appearance and scale, and do not necessarily represent color. Please be sure to note any images of diagrams, if provided, as they include important information.
SAMPLES: Please email us your mailing address and the complete ebay item title of the fabrics or leathers you are interested in. We are happy to provide up to 6 free samples per week—these are small samples for color/texture approval. If you need a larger sample, we may be able to provide it for a small charge.
PROMOTIONAL SHIPPING: We offer free shipping on all orders of $125 or more. If free shipping is not already indicated, please wait for our invoice before you pay so we can adjust your shipping to zero.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING: We use UPS for all continental US shipments, so please make sure that eBay and Paypal have a physical shipping address for you rather than a PO box. Shipments going to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and APO addresses are shipped via USPS and do not qualify for promotional shipping.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We use USPS Priority Mail for all international shipments. International buyers do not qualify for promotional shipping. Ebay’s shipping calculator will determine postage charges for your location. International buyers are responsible for all customs charges and/or taxes charged upon delivery.
PACKAGE STANDARDS: Unless you request otherwise, we ship all fabrics rolled on a tube to avoid wrinkling. Likewise, our leathers are shipped rolled and in boxes that we must purchase. This attention ensures that you will receive your fabric or leather in excellent condition.
RETURNS: A 20% restocking fee is charged on all returned items to cover the cost of inspection, reprocessing, restocking, and relisting. The fee is deducted from the purchase price. We offer free samples (see above), so returns should be minimal. If you choose to order without seeing a sample and need to return an item, the restocking fee will still be charged. We do not refund original nor return shipping. Please email us if you need to return an item. Items must be returned in the same condition as the buyer received them—uncut, unwashed, untreated and unmarked. If items were shipped on a fabric tube, they must be returned on the same tube. Fees will be charged for items returned to use with wrinkles or creasing, unless the items was originally shipped folded at the buyer’s request.

SEARCH TIPS: When searching for upholstery fabric, it helps to place the phrase “upholstery fabric” inside quotation marks in the search box. This will exclude thousands of irrelevant fabrics—from bridal fabric to 5” quilt squares--which Best Match returns in a search without the quotation marks. Adding color, brand or pattern outside the quotation marks will further narrow your search.
