These tyres are designed for most all round xc and trail centre routes so you can both maintain speed without too much drag whilst having enough protection for taking drops and navigating rocks and roots as well as ultimately good grip for tight muddy corners.
Not all frames can take a 2.3 tyre so check the gap between the rear stays on your frame (at the bottom bracket end) before ordering.
