GERBER-BOKER-rare 1997 APPLEGATE FAIRBAIRN combat knives set 492/3000 papers NIB

Rare 1997 limited addition commemorative Combat Knives set including Applegate-Fairbairn fixed-blade fighting dagger by BOKER, Germany, and Applegate-Fairbairn folder by GERBER, USA; only 3000 individually-numbered set were made. The set comes mounted on the original-issue American walnut wall plaque (the knives can be removed from the plaque), serial-numbered Gerber/Boker COA and sticker, a soft-cover book with illustrations and text in English & German, and Colonel Applegate's photograph personally signed by late Rex Applegate himself. The set is still in the original retail box with the cardboard paperwork folder; a rare find. The knives are in mint condition with original finish; no scratches, rust stains, or other detractions. Boker dagger is about 11" / 28 cm overall; Gerber combat folder is about 10” / 25.5 cm overall. The blades are engraved with serial numbers (0492/3000). Both knives are unused with original factory edge; the tips are intact. Boker did not issue sheaths with these sets. Scarce limited addition Gerber-Boker Applegate-Fairbairn set, complete with original paperwork AND in in original presentation packaging with all paperwork included; will make an excellent addition to any collection.
The knives have not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, 100% original condition; these are the actual photos. We do combine shipping for up to 3 similar lots. Buyers must be over 18 years of age. Will ship within 24 hrs of cleared payment.
