This is a brand new replacement Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) mast suitable for many Volvo C70 Coupe, Convertible, Cabriolet and Cabrio models 1999 to 2005 still fitted with the original Electric Aerial Power Antenna.  It is equivalent to the Volvo part number 8618361M.  It has 5 (FIVE) chrome telescopic sections with a black "can" shaped tip, overall extended length unfitted is 99cm (39 inches). Bottom section length is 250 mm (10 inches) and a diameter of 9mm.

The mast is supplied complete with a new contact-spring sleeve-retaining ferule and toothed drive cable. Fitting instructions are supplied and it can normally be fitted in a few minutes, from outside the vehicle, without dismantling the aerial or interior trim.

If your mast is broken, not fully retracting, sticking, bent has stripped teeth, noisy or suffering poor radio reception this is probably what you need.

This mast replaces the aerial/mast fitted as original equipment from the factory. On older vehicles, please compare the photograph and description to the aerial mast on your vehicle, to ensure the aerial has not already been replaced with an aftermarket aerial.
