Subsequent to the What Hi Fi? review, Polish magazine AudioVideo gave the Supra USB its highest 5-star rating as well, noting the "excellent price/quality relationship."
Supra achieves this lofty level of performance through militant noise rejection. As you may be aware, noise causes "jitter" (i.e., timing errors) in digital signals; according to research, each two microseconds of timing error results in the loss of one bit of resolution. By Supra's über-shielding EACH pair of leads, cable noise reaches the vanishing point - leading not just to improved resolution, but also to the ability to run a USB up to 15 meters (nearly fifty feet) without audible performance loss.
