Here's an extremely rare left handed 1977 Fender Telecaster. It was made in USA in Fullerton, California, and features what appears to be a super rare Black finish over Olympic White. The finish has lots of checking and chips with areas of wood exposed. This guitar is original with the Fullerton electronics and original solder joints, ceramic disc tone capacitors, Fullerton pickups and potentiometers with 3 way switch. This guitar is all original with the original frets, finish, and all paint. The headstock is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer as they used to do that at the Fullerton plant, with a thin poly finish throughout the rest of the neck.

All of the hardware has some natural aging, giving this guitar an awesome relic look. The finish in the headstock is Nitro, and the top coat looks like nitro as well. Some claim that in the 70's Fender was still doing "nitro over poly" finishes which poly undercoats with thin nitro lacquer topcoats. This one looks like a DuPont Black nitro over Olympic White with tons of linear checking and all natural relic wear. This guitar is a tone monster, and is truly an amazing piece of Fender history. This is the only left handed Fender Telecaster from this year with this custom color that I've ever seen or that is for sale anywhere right now, left handed.

The genuine Fender hard shell case with red interior appears to be original and has the original Fender logo on the exterior. The guitar and case fit perfectly together and it completes this as an awesome relic combination. This is a players guitar and if you're into the relic look, then this one is for you. There are many players who love their 1970's Fender Telecasters and for good reason. The original Fullerton USA pickups sound incredible and the guitar has an awesome tone.
