Absolutely adorable rubber-faced stuffed animal from the Rushton Company!

Just wind him up and the music box plays "Rock a Bye Baby" as his left arm moves the paper mache apple to and from his mouth. So cute!

Woodchuck (or generic woodland creature)  has black and white felt ears, and feet and a long tail. Faur is shades of gray  and white.

The music winder is marked SWISSTONE MUSIC SWITZERLAND on one side and SWISS MADE MUSICAL WORK on the other. The tune still plays perfectly due to the high quality.

Very good  condition. Face still cute and colorful. Fur is fairly fluffy with  no bald spots. The left ear is pointing to the side instead of straight up, probably due to storage. Note that he sits balancing on the edge of his bottom (I don't think this is a flaw but I'm no expert on these toys).

Label reads THE RUSHTON COMPANY ALTANTA, GA on one side and A RUSHTON STAR CREATION on the other.

Critter is about 7" tall and 5" wide across the feet.

I believe he's from the early 1960s.

I haven't seen him anywhere else so he's probably pretty rare!
