Bisque socket head with set blue eyes, with nice silvery spiraling inside, with painted lashes and thick feathered brows. A lovely molded open-closed mouth with shading accents. She wears a blond synthetic wig in tight curls with curly bangs. She is on her modern composition body with straight wrists, standing at 19.5" tall.
She wears a nice presentation costume: a pale blue cotton dress with flower print, and lots of white lace trim and decoration -- truly captures the antique feel! Underneath goes a white cotton half slip with lace trim, matching pantaloons, cream socks, and white faux leather shoes. Blue silk ribbon around the waist. She wears a gorgeous vintage gold-filled locket around her neck.
MARKS: 16 x BJ 39 [seems to be artist's mark]
CONDITION: Excellent. Her bisque head is free of hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration, and the eyes are great with no fissures. Beautiful and accurate capture of the desirable A.T. Kestner face, that you all know and love. Costume is good, with no issues. Body is typical reproduction composition body, with no breaking or flaking. Overall, a fabulous girl!
