Presenting an Absolutely Exquisitely Hand Painted Antique Porcelain Lidded Hot Chocolate Pot by Meissen which Dates to the 18th Century
Circa 1740
Decorated with an Ornithological Scene of Birds with their Chicks with a Chuch in the Distance in Vivid Polychrome Enamels on a White Ground with Delicate Moulded Scroll Work
The Other Side Features Opulent Exotic Birds, with Grecian Ruins and an Ancient Tower in the Background
Delicately Framed with Gilt, with Scattered Sprigs of Flowers
It has an Ornate Gilded Crabstock Style Spout and similar remnants of handle
Crossed Swords Mark on Base
I am afraid that the handle has been broken and there is a piece missing from the bottom, it would also of had a turned wooden handle inserted within it, it also lacks a lid but is otherwise in Good Antique Condition
A Stunning Piece that Deserves to be Preserved and Enjoyed
