They are the type famously used in Georgian and Victorian apothecary stores that had rows and rows of these jars all with gold painted labels detailing their strange and unusual ingredients. These two are damaged, but they are still rather eyecatching and will be a worthy addition to cabinet of curiosity. MEASUREMENTS LARGE JAR - Approximately 24.5cms tall and 9,5cms across the base SMALL JAR - Aproximately 19.5cms tall and 7.5cms across the base CONDITION LARGE JAR - Best condition of the two. Stopper is stuck but should be able to release it with care. Chip on the rim. Label badly rubbed. SMALL JAR - Cracking / crazing around the neck of the jar, Label badly rubbed.
