Description

This lovely hand made and hand decorated vase was produced by the world renowned and highly collected Moorcroft factory in Stoke on Trent, England.

It was issued as part of the RHS Rose collection and was designed by Rachel Bishop. The vase features Eglantine rose on a shape which lends itself to the design superbly..

Condition Report

It has been judged seconds with a red dot but is considered to be in excellent display condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. All Moorcroft is handmade from start to finish with no two pieces the same. That said, small imperfections can inevitably appear, perhaps to the glazing, tubelining, or paintwork and as a result these pieces are designated as seconds. This is not a reflection on the display of the piece but more a result of Moorcroft's stringent quality control department. The reason for the judgement is due to a couple of small under the glaze "scars" to the interior as shown ringed. These can only be seen on close inspection and do not affect overall appeal or deisplay. The vase is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.

Fully stamped to the base with various Moorcroft markings as shown in the attached photograph for your reference.

Payment

We accept payment by Paypal, bank transfer, personal cheque, and postal order.

Overseas

We prefer payment by Paypal but will accept payments drawn on a UK bank account in Sterling if made by prior arrangement.

Delivery Detail

The item will be delivered by Royal Mail First Class unless otherwise requested.

Overseas

The item will be shipped using Royal Mail Air Mail unless otherwise requested.

Surface Mail

Due to the unfortunate reputation of surface mail shipping we are afraid that we will not insure any item transported in this way. Any such delivery will be undertaken entirely at your own risk. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Insurance

Your item will be insured against loss or damage .

If normal delivery option is quaoted then signed for deliveries can also be requested at the end of the auction at a cost of an additional 95p for UK buyers or £3.50 for overseas.

Exceptions - Customers from the Russian Federation please note that we will only send items by Royal Mail Signed For and that the additional £3.50 charge will be added at the end of the auction.

Packing

All our items are packed securely, with a combination of chippings and bubble wrap to ensure safe delivery.

Combined Shipping

We will always combine shipping for multiple purchases to give you the cheapest possible delivery costs. Packages weighing up to 2kg will be sent via Royal Mail. Packages in excess of 2kg may be sent by courier if this is more cost effective for you.

If you have purchased multiple items please wait for an invoice before making your payment.

Exceptions - Customers in the Russian Federation please note that we will only combine shipping up to a maximum of 2kg. We will not ship by courier to these destinations.

Import Customs Duty

Overseas customers should bear in mind that import duties may be liable on any goods sold by us to individuals who reside outside of the EU. We will not be responsible for any customs duties levied and on purchasing goods from Premier Pottery you accept all responsibility for any fees applied.
