I have been eyeing a Sunny spin bike for quite some time. I run about 1,200 miles a year and want to incorporate some other training into my regime and I love how spin bikes feel on my quads and glutes. I save this and another Sunny model to my Wish List in Amazon. Then when I decided to pull the trigger and buy the bike I searched for the same model using Google Shopping - that's how I came to find the same bike for about $60 less with overstock. What a deal! It arrived in the expected time frame too. When it arrived I noted the bottom of the shipping box was torn pretty well but I have to give Sunny credit as they ship with bike with metal shipping bases. At first I thought the bike was slightly damaged but it was one of the removable shipping feet so no harm, no foul! Putting the bike together was very easy, especially with the instructions and the included tools. It really was easy, peasy. Moving the bike around on the wheels is easy as well - just remember to be facing the front of the bike, as the instructions depict. Using the bike, adjusting the seat, stem and handlebars is very simple. The ride, pedal cranks are silky smooth and is there an adjective for quieter than quiet? Unbelievably high quality spin bike from Sunny - I highly, highly recommend it. You can't be the price/quality combination. I may look into a little more advanced computer but the one that comes with gets the basic job done. Buy it - you won't be disappointed.
This bike is heavy. I was concerned it may of a store quality, rather than a commercial grade piece of equipment - particularly because of the price. If there was a sliding scale of quality, with 1 being store quality and 5 being commercial grade, I'd put this bike around a 3.5. It's very heavy, it's quiet and appears to be a piece that I'm going to have around for quite some time. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cycling bike.
My husband got this for me for my birthday. Arrived promptly and he was able to assemble it quickly. It's extremely smooth and quiet. I took off one star because the tracking monitor feels cheaply made and I am wondering how long it will last plus, the rubber on one handle is already fraying after less than one month's use. Other than that, I am very pleased
