Beat Instrumental Magazine is one of the great U.K. music publications. Unlike typical fan magazines which focused on the personalities of the artists, it devoted itself to the more technical side of the pop music world. Still artist driven, its emphasis was on musicianship, songwriting, performing, recording and innovations in equipment, carving a niche for itself that made it unique.

No other publication at the time was taking pop seriously and producing an intelligent and informative chronicle of its times. With its exclusive interviews, terrific articles and wonderful photos it is always fascinating and fun to read. True music fans will love Beat Instrumental!
