Six images of this book are shown below. It is: The Maze, by Maurice Sandoz, Published by Doubleday Doran, 1945, stated first edition. This book measures 8 1/2" x 5 3/4" and is 110 pages. It is in solid Very Good condition with some gentle wear. There are thirteen (as issued), full-page, halftone illustrations by Salvador Dali; they are in virtually-perfect condition, and they are blank on the reverse. The dust jacket is not price-clipped (price: "$2.50") and is in Brodart protective mylar. It is in Good-Very Good condition only with edgewear and with about half of its spine lacking; the jacket is in its original condition with no amateur or professional repair of any kind. The first two images below are the front and back of the jacket; the color illustration on the jacket's front panel is by Dali. The next two images are the front and spine of the book. Images #5 and #6 are two of Dali's illustrations within the book. Regarding the book, there is no former-owner's bookplate inside, no writing inside, no foxing, and there are no loose pages.
