This is a 1888-P VAM-37.  A strong coin with a bright, uncleaned luster.
would look good in any collection
Toning in photographs is darker than in hand, much whiter in appearance

1888-P VAM-37 Has Doubled Wreaths.  Several leaves doubled in each cluster of left wreath,
some leaves in lower three clusters in right wreath and the inside of wreath bow.
Clash marks at neck and lips, and also at Eagle's right wing

I am not an expert, I simply collected these coins for my own enjoyment over the years.
Now it is time to pass them on to the next generations of collectors.  I am not an expert
at Grading.  I find that somewhat subjective.  I've taken closeup pictures of the coin.
Please judge for yourself.  Thanks to all those past and present who have made Silver
Dollar collecting enjoyable over the years.

The Morgan Dollar was named after its designer, George T Morgan.  Coinage of the Silver Dollar was suspended after 1904,
when demand was low and the bullion supply was exhausted.  Under provisions of the Pittman Act of 1918,  270,232,722
Silver Dollars were melted.  Because of this many Morgan Dollars are a lot harder to find than mintage numbers would indicate,
or collectors realize. (That's a LOT of melted dollars!)
Morgans are now one of the most collected US coins because of their beautiful design.  There are limited supplies and an
an ever growing demand.  Uncirculated coins in VAM varieties are rare.  This makes them even more collectible.

Offers: If I have "make an offer enabled", please make a reasonable offer. I paid a fair price when I bought the coin,
so 30% off offers will be ignored. eBay makes more per coin when you buy it than I do.

I am not a dealer.  I am a collector of many things, coins, books, black-powder firearms, a cowboy action shooter, and retiree.

Having to down-size is a hard part of life, but it comes to us all.  I do not have a store, I do not sell by "pick up" out of my home,

everything has to be mailed out.  I have to let a lot of my collection go, and I will list on e-bay, my coins, books, signed 1st Ed. books,

black-powder gun parts, and whatever's in the house I come across that is just too much of a much to keep around anymore.

I am not an expert on anything. You may know more about any given subject than I do.  That's why it's best to look at the pictures

and judge for yourself.  There is a 30-day money back return period, but YOU will pay return postage.  Item has to be returned

in the same condition as when sent out.

Payment is due within 3 days of end of auction.  If not paid within that time frame, an "end transaction" will be sent

to you and the item will be relisted. You will be reported as a non-paying bidder. Shipping is fast.  I will ship Same Day,

or Next Business Day.  I ship only within the United States, and only to an address recognized by the US Post Office.

If the Postal Service can't deliver to you, please don't bid.
