Lovely vintage embroidered bag from approx 1960s/1970s.

Most probably made in India, although no labels.

The gold fan/shell design embroidery is made on thick velvet.

The front flap of the bag is fully embroidered and there is no embroidery on the back.

Has a black braided strap that is long enough to wear on one shoulder but it can also be folded up so that you can wear the bag as a clutch. The strap is 67cm drop. The bag measures approx: 21cm x 14cm x 6cm (base at widest stretched point).

It is big enough to hold your most necessary items, a mobile phone, some notes and a small coin purse or cards and a lipstick. It has two smaller and one larger pockets and the inside is undivided.

The bag comes in excellent vintage condition.
