This item came from a restorers auction. This is a NO RESERVE auction.

You are bidding on (1) Ajax no. 011 jack and (1) handle. Internet research shows that the jack would be part number A-17080-A and the handle would be part number A-17081-A. Internet also shows that this would be part of the original factory tool kit. This assembly was used from October 1928 to November 1929. The jack is 9 1/2" inches tall in its down position. It raises up to a height of 16" inches tall. It is a ratcheting type jack. The up/down latch operates as it should. I have jacked it up and down but not on a vehicle so no guarantee that it will work on a car. The handle is 1/4" x 7/8" flat steel. It is 20" long with the twist being approx. 4" from one end. There is some minor surface rust in different places. There is one larger rust area clump (see last photo) that is also pitted. There is some very minor pitting in a few spots. The paint is scratched and worn in places. The paint is nicked on the handle. There is some grease or dirt on the saddle area that goes to the car frame. This is in good condition for its age and should show good when cleaned up.
