GRADE 6 Near Mint ) -- Looks new, may show very slight discoloration due to age. No evidence of handling. Authenticity guaranteed. -- ( GRADE 5 Excellent ) -- Postcard will have no stains or bends. Card may have a trace of wear around the edges, and corners may show minor bumps and have light discoloration from album storage. Writing on front is acceptable on rppcs only if it is concise and enhances documentation. May be postmarked. -- ( GRADE 4 Fine ) -- Corner tips may be slightly rounded or very slightly creased. Card may have small stains or bends that have little impact on the overall appearance. Writing on the front may be acceptable if limited to a date, or unobtrusive identification that has negligible disruption of the image. Minor emulsion loss acceptable if along the edge. Postcard may have light soiling, surface wear, or foxing. There may be trivial impressions on the front from postal usage. -- ( GRADE 3 Good ) -- Defects and wear obvious. No significant image scrapes or corner loss. Card may have border tear, and noticeable creases or soiling. -- ( GRADE 2 Fair ) -- Card mostly intact. Scrapes, stains, bends, tear, writing on front affect image. Card may have pinholes or possible trim. One corner tip may be missing. -- ( GRADE 1 Poor ) -- Objectionable trim, tear, hole, creases, corners missing, album paper glued on back covering Post Card & stamp box, ect. All postcards that grade good or better in my opinion, are not trimmed or doctored. Payment must be made within 5 days of auction close, unless prior arrangement is made.
I do not crop the gallery picture to give a false impression of the postcard. I NEVER write imagined or misleading identification on the back of cards. All items are old or original - I do not sell reproductions. Buyer prepays item and $1.87 for s/h within the USA. Additional postcard lots shipped for 20 cents each. On rare occasions the post office on the buyers end will put additional "postage due" on the envelope. This is because of a difference in interpreting what type of envelope and stiffeners are called. If you do receive an item with postage due please let me know and I will reimburse you.
