☃️DICKENS COLLECTIBLE TOWNE SERIES SNOW VILLAGE PORCELAIN LIGHTED GIFT SHOP 1994

Up for your consideration is this beautiful, collectible, Porcelain Lighted Gift Shop. Open the door to Victorian England, which at the time of Charles Dickens, was the center of culture for the world and where many traditions we celebrate today took shape. The architecture, customs and history of Victorian England are inherent in the Dickens' Towne Series. These distinguished and quaint buildings and accessories are an inspiration to all who make them part of their holiday traditions. Please be sure to see the other items we have listed.

  • FEATURES: Porcelain Lighted Gift Shop. This hand-painted corner Gift Shop is very quaint. It is a retired piece from 1994. The exterior is white textured stone with random tan bricks. It has double front doors in chocolate brown and they have a wood texture. Each door has a four pane window and below the right door is green garland with red and gold decorations. There is a white overhang above the doors and the white shop sign is in a light blue frame with curly-cues at the top, the name Gift Shop is written in black. The exterior above the door is all pale yellow brick up to the roof peak. There is an arched window above the sign and it has six square panes, two of which are open. In the arch there four pie shaped panes. It has a semi-round tan brick pediment with a white keystone stone in the center. On the third floor is another window with six panes, two of them are open, and it has light brown wood shutters. At the very top, in the peak is a small arched window with chocolate brown trim. The mansard style roof is made to look like half round clay tiles and they are a forest green color. The roof line on the front is trimmed in white. On the right side of the shop, there is a pale yellow brick foundation with two arched, six pane windows. Each window has two open panes and they have a tan brick arched pediment above them. The second story has three windows with eight panes each. Both the outer windows have  two open panes, the window in the middle is covered by a large green wreath with a red bow. On the third floor there is a ledge of tan brick and four round white columns, in the middle is a six pane window with two open panes. Above the window is pale yellow brick in a triangular, sharp peak, shape. The left exterior side of the shop is white textured stone with random tan bricks. The is a large hand-painted display window with red, vertical, brick ledge surrounded by light brown trim. In the display window are colorful gifts in various shapes and some have balloons attached to them. Over the display window is a faux canvas awning with tan and white stripes. Above the awning an eight pane window, two panes are open, trimmed in green and it has a brown brick pediment. On the third floor there is a double window with four panes each, four panes are open. The trim is pale green with a sunrise-type pediment. On the roof is a small arched window with eight panes, three of which are open. There is a tan brick chimney with a dark brown topper and patches of snow on the roof.

    You really like the thing, but not so much the price...

    I find cool stuff, do some research and list it for what I think it's worth. Sounds pretty simple but sometimes not. So if this is something you really like but its a bit more than you had hoped to pay, then be sure to watch this because I can't send it to the bank, and if it ends without a buyer chances are good that I will drop the price and re-list it until it does sell! Two things for sure - it will get sold sooner rather than later, and that's better for both of us.
