Here's a very rare example of a made in Japan Takamine & Co Martin D28 clone, made in Japan 1983 of top craftsmanship, featuring a solid Spruce top, East Indian roswood sides, back, mahogany neck and 100% original parts with no changes. This guitar is in A+ condition with no cracks, no repairs, and plenty of height on the saddle, straight neck, and perfect neck angle. Single owner, mostly case kept and virtually unplayed with hardly any play wear. Theres a few small nicks, dings, and scratches with some surface wear throughout, but frets are in great condition and there is no heavy wear. This guitar also comes with the original hard shell case which is in also in good vintage condition with some light surface wear.

This guitar is very rare and impossible to find left handed and in such good condition. This guitar has that powerful, booming tone and plenty of midrange from light gauge Martin strings. Overall, this is an outstanding and highly sought after acoustic guitar. This guitar is eerily similar to the Matin Shenandoah D2832 which is also made in Japan and a clone of the D28, and which recently sold used for $2,000. Serious buyers and serious inquiries only.
