Please read my feedbacks and check out how many satisfied buyers there are and what they have to say about all of my Thin Clients. DO NOT rely solely on what the SELLER tells you about how great they are or how good their configuration is. Feedbacks will help you decide which Thin Client to buy and whom to buy it from! ***PLEASE NOTE: These Thin Clients are great for magicJack use, however, these Thin Clients are NOT suitable for online video streaming such as NETFLIX etc... If you are looking for a Thin Client that is capable of decent Video Streaming such as NETFLIX, look for the Atom Based Thin Clients such as the HP T5740.
Worry FREE magicJack Updates!
Using a Microdrive will eliminate the need for the Write Filter. Unlike the Flash Drive, you DO NOT have to manually save magicJack updates anymore because it will be saved automatically to the Microdrive for a totally worry free magicJack operation 24/7. Spinning Drive Yes, but noise? NO Sir! Use a stethoscope just to hear it spinning!
Beware of Thin Clients with a Flash Drive with ONLY 256MB of memory!!! The Write Filter that protects the Flash Drive from write cycles to prolong its life may have been disabled!
If you have a Flash Drive with 256MB of memory, it may work for now but goodluck with MJ updates as you will most likely get locked up and wake up with no phone service when MJ releases an update! Even with 512MB if not configured correctly you will get locked up as well! With a Microdrive, not a problem at all.
To those who are not familiar with Microdrives, these are the drives used with iPod, MP3 Players etc.. so they are tough! They play while you play or jog! I am not suggesting you can go jogging with this thing with your Thin Client (please don't) I am just giving you a bit of idea about these drives. If they work well while you jog they should work better when it sits steady with your Thin Client!!!

If you have a new magicJack device you may register it using your PC or you may use this unit to do that.
After the initial setup you may disconnect the KB, mouse and monitor and leave it alone in the corner if you want.
This unit consumes very little electricity compared to the power hungry desktop PC so you can leave it ON 24/7 to run your magicJack 24/7.
It will automatically turn itself "ON" and restart magicJack after a power failure when power is restored.
The system is set for the CPU to give Highest Priority to magicJack.exe process allowing you to have the highest call quality that rivals your desktop or laptop computer.
