2 and a half thousand views last time. Some of you are obviously interested, so hey, lets post again and see if some of you will bid this time.

Difficult to even know where to start!!  Built couple years ago. It can be riden, and is actually quite comfy once you get it moving. The engine is a Honda 49 cc industrial strimmer engine. Yes, I know, not exactly a Knucklehead, but hey, certainly different. When was the last time you saw a cool chop with a strimmer engine? Unless of course you happen to have seen it a couple of shows. Ok, its spent more time being shown than riden but that hows its still in great condition.

It started life as a bicycle. One of those USA styled chopper bicycles. The frame was then cut about and rewelded to accomodate the engine. Drive system worked out using a go kart style centrifugal clutch arrangement. Custom exhaust with a box from a scooter and plenty of heat tape (dont want to burn your leg!). As a Bicycle it had no front brake. It has now, but at the speed this travels at (pretty slow) a twin disc system would have been overkill (attempt at humour there). Throttle is by thumb on right right, like a quad often has. Rear fender is totaly custom made in fiberglass. Grips and footpegs are custom scooter assecories. Seat is Honda monkey bike. Painted bright orange (gotta get noticed!) and striped blue and green. Subtle it isn't.

NOT registered for road use. It couldn't keep with the traffic for one thing! Purely built, shown and riden for fun only. With a bit of tweeking and a cover on the drive chain on the left hand side it would make a super cool pit bike. Or, just carry on showing it as I gaurantee it IS a great talking point. You'd be surprised how many will stop looking at £15,000 Harleys to come a stare and ask questions or even to insult you! Yeah, it'll get very mixed reaction but certainly won't be ignored. Isnt that what the custom bike thing is about... 'not' conforming to the stereotype!

So hard to price as there is not much to compare it to. Priced here at a fraction over build cost, thats parts, bicycle, engine, and detailing parts. Doesnt really include man hours at all. If you think you can get someone, or yourself and pay a few mates for the bits you cant do any cheaper, then I applaud your inginuity and skill. My guess is not. As I say, hard to price. Ask a pro builder and see what they might charge! Chances are a great deal more. Enough babble, fancy something totally different, a gauranteed talking point, then taker closer look at the pictures and give it some thought.

Best to collect as its a bit heavy to send, hence no carrier price given. Its 2metres and 7 cms long at full stretch if that helps.
