I am liquidating the estate of a recently deceased 94 year old friend of mine.
All info is based on information I received from my friend shortly before her death (she had ALL of her mental faculties up until the day she died). ITEM IN THIS AUCTION:
ANTIQUE cast iron toy locomotive and coal car. Authentic, not reproduction. Exact circa: UNKNOWN but they are antique according to info I received. Locomotive measures 5 3/4" long x 3 1/4" tall and coal car measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/8" ...but seems larger then that in appearance. Please see all photos.
Solid, cast iron. Excellent original condition (not restored in any way). There is a little wire tying the two pieces together (I assume so they could not get separated from each other when being stored in a box in the attic).
