Perfect for a wide range of finesse applications, its lightweight Aluminum body and Zaion Carbon Side Cover greatly reduce weight, while also providing the rigidity to withstand heavy torquing. It also comes equipped with Daiwa's new Air Rotor that is up to 15% lighter than normal rotor designs, offering better balance and distributing stress more efficiently.
Five bearings (3CRBB, 1BB+1RB) ensure consistently fluid casts and retrieves, and a smooth Waterproof Drag System furnishes durable, consistent pressure throughout its range. Whether its drop shotting, shaky head fishing or any of your other favorite finesse presentations, the Procyon has the features to accommodate light lines and even braid, including Daiwa's Advanced Locomotive Levelwind, which helps ensure even line lay, as well as, Daiwa's Twist Buster system, which greatly reduces line twist.
